If your family and friends have provided care and assistance because of your injuries or have had to carry out tasks which you would otherwise have been able to do yourself, you may also be able to claim for this. For example, you may have required assistance with washing and dressing for a period after your accident. Other examples would be help with meal preparation or housework that you were unable to do yourself. Disability on the Labour Market and Loss of Congenial EmploymentYour injuries may have affected your employment and meant that you have had to change your job.
