Nigel has specialised in commercial property work throughout his career and has wide experience in acting for public sector bodies, public companies, private companies and other commercial organisations as well as individuals in their property investments. He specialises in industrial and investment property acquisitions and disposals, development work, landlord and tenant matters and secured lending transactions.

After studying French civilization at the Sorbonne University in Paris, Nigel studied law at Liverpool University and qualified as a solicitor in 1969. He has practised law in Cardiff for over 30 years. He became a Partner in Edward Lewis Possart & Co in 1971 and subsequently in Bevan Ashford when the two firms merged in 1993, for many years as head of the property department in the Cardiff office. He acts for a number of public companies, including Gilesports plc, Culver Holdings plc and Park Holdings plc, numerous private companies, public sector bodies including ELWa and The Order of St. John throughout Wales. A former Cardiff City Councillor, Nigel was also for some years a part-time chairman in the Independent Tribunal Service.

Nigel is married with a grown up son and daughter and lives in Cardiff. His recreational interests include books, music, motor cars and visiting France.
