As part of the service that the firm offers in all areas of contentious work, we recognise the importance of Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") and particularly Mediation as a form of ADR.

All of our lawyers are familiar with ADR processes and senior staff in our litigation, employment, healthcare and personal injury teams have extensive experience of using ADR methods as a cost effective alternative to litigation or arbitration.

In our Dispute Resolution Team, Alex Pay, Joanne Brown and Rob Willis all have substantial experience of undertaking Mediations through recognised mediation service providers for commercial clients in many industry sectors.

Rob Willis, in particular, has ten years experience of resolving disputes through Mediation at a fraction of the cost of conventional litigation/arbitration, with a success rate (in terms of cases settled) of better than 75%. As well as being a solicitor, Rob is a qualified commercial mediator, trained by the Civil Mediation Council and accepts instructions to act as a mediator in commercial disputes.
